wifey

Shirt -Delia's
Skirt - BDG at UO
Shoes - Ecote at UO

Back into the swing of things after the wedding. The top I've had forever and always try to get rid of, but then I realize it's super light and comfortable and actually quite pretty. The shoes were part of my possible matrimonial footwear wardrobe, but I ended up going another way.

back to (high) school

Tank - Kate Hill
Cardigan - American Eagle Outfitters
Skirt - Context
Tights - HUE

I built this outfit around the tights, so it's kind of a shame you can't see their great colors better. The skirt is a high-waister, as you can tell from the second photo, but I wore the tank top un-tucked at work. I'm with older kids now, so I'm trying to make an effort to "step it up" some days—while still keeping in mind that I'm constantly touching dusty library books and other general school grime.

chilly cookout

Necklace - On loan
Striped Tank - Lord & Taylor
Green Cardi - Tullette
Jean - Target

Friends invited us for a dinner of black bean burgers and wasabi mashed potatoes. You can't see from the picture, but I wore my black ballet-flat Crocs since we were dining al fresco. Also had to add a hoodie since it got kinda cold out.

post grunge

Sweater - Anne Klein
Polo - Target

Going to see a friend's band play another basement show. They ended their set with a Nirvana cover from Bleach.

I got this sweater more than five years ago shopping in a department store with my mom. Still one of my favorites.

Striped Tunic - H&M
Cardigan - New York & Co.
Trousers - Kate Hill

First-day-of-teaching-first-graders outfit. Looking a little rumpled but I think I straightened things out before getting to school.

sick of snow days

T-shirt - Silk screen on American Apparel
Scarf - Old Navy
Skirt - Vintage Norma Kamali
Leggings - American Apparel

Tired of wearing boots and heavy clothes! Since I'm staying inside today, I decided to bring a little sunshine.

This skirt lived in my dress-up bin when I was a little girl. Supposedly it came from my uncle's girlfriend who worked "in fashion" (or maybe in retail).

last hurrah

Dress - Le Tigre
Cardigan - Lord & Taylor
Jeans - Target
Boots - Nine West

Dressed down for the final day of my internship. Don't tell mom I wore jeans to work.

(P.S. Not sure yet if I wanna show ya my face—hence, the scribble.)
